Insurance and Financial Policies
If patients don’t have insurance, we partner with the AcupunctureHealthNetwork (AHN) to provide access to care at reduced prices.
No need to apply in advance for the AHN membership. We will take care of that at your first visit in the office.
We require payment in full (including co-pays, co-insurance and deductibles) for all services rendered and medicinary items purchased at time of service.
Current accepted forms of payment are cash, check or credit or debit cards (accept VISA, Mastercard and Discover).
We accept the following health insurance plans and are also able to bill as an Out-Of-Network Provider.

- Kaiser (CHP)
- Pacific Source
- Providence Health Plans
- Regence – Blue Cross Blue Shield
- United Healthcare
Please contact us with your insurance information via phone or email and include your ID number, Group number and your date of birth so we are able to provide you with your insurance benefits at your appointment as a courtesy. Please be aware that this verification is an estimation of benefits and not a guarantee of payment. When you come in for your appointment, please bring your insurance card and photo ID. If there is a co-pay or deductible, that will be collected at your appointment. If you have no coverage, we currently accept cash, check and credit/debit cards.
We can also provide you with a Superbill, which is a receipt for you to receive reimbursement from your insurance company. You would pay Green Lotus Acupuncture directly and then submit the Superbill (receipt) to your insurance company to seek reimbursement.
Cancellations and No Shows
When you schedule an appointment we happily reserve that time especially for you. Please kindly give us 48 hours notice to cancel an appointment. If you do not provide us with at least 24-hour notice of your intent to cancel an appointment, you will be charged a late cancellation fee of $50.
